Learners in this course design global supply chains using quantitative methods that achieve world-class customer service and competitive costs. The need to optimize multiple variables and address dynamic markets makes this a complex task. This course addresses facility location, inventory management, service levels and transportation selection as aspects of supply chain network design. Learners also examine how to create teams and address project management concerns associated with supply chain projects.
