SWK3216 Planning and Social Policy in Human
Learners analyze the ways in which contemporary social policies in the United States impact the role of generalist social work practitioners in implementing, planning, leading, and evaluating said policies. Throughout the course, learners gain an understanding of the origins, process, and politics associated with these polices. Learners identify the ways in which generalist practice values, best practice standards, and social polices intended to advance human rights and social justice integrate together to create actionable approaches to contemporary social work.
