School of Public Service and Education
The Master of Science in Human Services degree program prepares learners to serve as leaders within communities and human services organizations to understand and address the trends and needs of individuals, communities, organizations, and societies within their social and built environments. Throughout the program, learners develop the skills needed to identify and analyze problems and create meaningful solutions based on an understanding of human needs, diversity, research, best practices, and historical issues that can impact social equity. Learners integrate the knowledge of human functioning and research, along with training to apply that knowledge in professional settings, to collaborate and solve issues in diverse for-profit, nonprofit, and government settings.
