CES8768 Counselor Education Teaching and Practice
Students gain an understanding of major roles, responsibilities, and activities of counselor educators. Students analyze instructional theory and methods and evaluate ethical and legal issues associated with counselor preparation training. Students develop a philosophy of teaching and learning and examine procedures for engaging students, assessing student needs, and effectively delivering the information needed to develop competent counselors.
