HIM1610 Introduction to Medical Terminology
Students develop an understanding of medical terminology used within healthcare. Students achieve a working knowledge of prefixes, suffixes, word roots, and combining forms and practice correctly pronouncing, spelling, and using medical terms in the appropriate contexts.
Students who have received credit for HIM4610 may not take HIM1610. RN-to-BSN students are not eligible to earn credit for this course.
