MAT-FPX2200 Calculus

Students use technology; modeling; and algebraic, graphical, and numerical methods to study functions of one real variable. Students apply the ideas of limit, continuity, differentiation, and integration in real-world situations. Students use approximation and optimization methods to model and solve real-world problems and to solve geometric problems involving tangents and areas under the curve.
