NURS-FPX5007 Leadership for Nursing Practice
In this course, students examine and apply theoretical concepts and leadership competencies for nursing practice. Students evaluate evidence-based best practices and behaviors that support effective nursing leadership in health care settings, and analyze strategies for coordination, delegation, and goal setting and performance improvement. Students also assess concepts and principles of health care policy, legal and regulatory issues, and quality control in health care and the nursing profession. For MSN, FlexPath option students only.
