POL-FPX1100 Introduction to American Government and Politics
Students examine the foundations of the American Government and the fundamental workings of the political system in the United States. Students investigate how governmental institutions and policies have impacted individuals and groups historically, how these governmental institutions continue to impact the daily lives of individuals today, and ways in which the political system can be improved to benefit everyone in the United States. Students also analyze the Constitution, civil liberties, and civil rights.
