PSYC-FPX1010 Introductory Psychology

Students identify the major subdisciplines of psychology and analyze how psychologists develop understanding of human nature and behavior through scientific research. Students examine such areas as the brain and memory, cognition, human development, emotions, motivations, social influence, and psychological disorders. Students apply this knowledge on personal, professional, and societal levels through assignments involving everyday situations and global issues. Students who have received credit for PSYC-FPX1000 may not take PSYC-FPX1010.
