ED5724 Applied Linguistics
Students investigate foundational linguistic concepts with an emphasis on the structure of English, including phonology, morphology, syntax, and semantics. Students identify cross‑linguistic relationships and analyze pedagogical approaches to English language instruction. The course also incorporates technology-based tools that support linguistic analysis and classroom practice. Throughout the course, students communicate their linguistic insights effectively for academic and professional contexts. This course requires access to an English language learner.
