This introductory course covers the five core areas of public health: epidemiology, biostatistics, environmental health, health services administration, and social and behavioral sciences, including foundational epidemiology principles. Students explore the role of public health in disease prevention, health promotion, and population health improvement. For BS in Health Sciences students only.
