ITEC5040 Predictive Models and Classification Methods
Students gain the skills to utilize historical data to predict future outcomes, as well as identify patterns in current data that can be used to classify or group future observations. Students complete their own analytics project through hands-on statistical techniques coupled with a broad understanding of contemporary predictive modeling and analytics classification methods. Throughout the course, students utilize AI as a support tool for coding, troubleshooting, and understanding outputs. Students remain responsible for verifying results and ensuring their analysis is accurate.
