Students are introduced to the fundamental principles of microbiology, emphasizing the classification, metabolism, growth, and genetics of microorganisms. Students explore the role of microbes in human health and disease, gaining insight into both pathogenic and beneficial interactions. Through interactive laboratory experiences, students apply aseptic techniques, cultivate and identify microorganisms, and develop proficiency in microbiological methods. With an emphasis on clear and accurate communication of scientific concepts, students are prepared to integrate microbiological knowledge into clinical decision-making and patient care.
