RSCH8635 Advanced Qualitative Analysis
Students investigate the practical design and execution of qualitative research. Students work through the full research process by developing a study aligned to a clear research question, creating data collection instruments, collecting qualitative data, and conducting systematic analysis. Additionally, students develop sound methodological decision-making skills by working closely with qualitative data and communicating findings in a clear and organized way. Students also identify how to strengthen the quality of their work by addressing credibility and dependability throughout the study, applying these considerations within an original qualitative project that reflects appropriate rigor and scholarly standards.
