PSYC-FPX2700 Child Development

Learners investigate the scientific study of cognitive, social and physical human development from the prenatal stage through middle childhood. Using major theories and research findings, learners explore children's physical and mental growth, biology, emotion, personality, family and peer dynamics, and early education experiences. Learners also consider how cultural and societal contexts shape development in meaningful ways during childhood.
