RSCH8625 Advanced Quantitative Statistics
Learners investigate statistics commonly used in quantitative dissertations including multiple regression, factorial analysis of variance (ANOVA), chi-square, and logistic regression. Learners also analyze statistics such as exploratory factor analysis that facilitate the selection of reliable and valid surveys used in dissertations. Additionally, learners gain an understanding of power analysis to determine the minimum sample size needed for a dissertation. Proficiency with statistical software is expected.
