NURS-FPX4035 Enhancing Patient Safety and Quality of Care
Students build and demonstrate the skills necessary to contribute to the quality improvement of health care and patient safety. Students analyze elements of successful quality improvements as well as factors that lead to patient safety risks. In addition, students identify organizational interventions to promote patient safety and facilitate quality improvement processes to achieve desired patient, systems, and population outcomes. For BSN, FlexPath option students only. Students who are in a nursing program cannot take a NURS-FPX course as an elective.
