SWK5012 Culturally Responsive Social Work Practice
Students examine difference in power as it relates to social work practice. Throughout the course, students gain knowledge of race, ethnicity, religion, age, sex, social and economic status, personal perspectives, and ability. Through technology, students engage in strategy and leadership best practices in social work. For MSW-Advanced standing students only. Maust be taken during the student's first quarter in the program. Cannot be fulfilled by transfer except by coursework from a CSWE-accredited program.
