NURS6620 Care Coordination Healthcare Models
Learners examine how the Quadruple Aim is incorporated into the larger framework of clinical care oversight. Learners analyze the role of technology in nursing care coordination and the ways in which data is used to inform decision-making to influence healthcare outcomes. Learners also identify the ways in which care coordination can enhance the patient experience, improve health equity within the community, reduce costs of care, and improve patient and provider satisfaction. Learners are required to complete 50 practicum hours. For MSN learners only. Special permission is required for registration. Cannot be fulfilled by transfer or credit for prior learning.
