PSYC1010 Introductory Psychology
Learners identify the major subdisciplines of psychology and analyze how psychologists develop understanding of human nature and behavior through scientific research. Learners examine such areas as the brain and memory, cognition, human development, emotions, motivations, social influence, and psychological disorders. Learners apply this knowledge on personal, professional, and societal levels through assignments involving everyday situations and global issues.
Learners who have received credit for PSYC1000 may not take PSYC1010.
