The Accounting concentration provides students with a basic understanding of accounting in an organization, including how to create financial statements and evaluate an enterprise’s financial health. Students gain an understanding of budgeting and analyze the time value of money. Students also examine General Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) and Financial Accounting Standard Board (FASB) pronouncements.
