NURS3020 Pharmacology

Students prepare to apply pharmacological knowledge and clinical reasoning in the safe and effective use of medications in patient care. Students interpret physical assessments and diagnostic findings to guide pharmacology treatment and monitoring strategies. Delivering person-centered care through clear communication of evidence-based health information related to pharmacology is emphasized throughout the course. Students also explore the nurse’s role in promoting healthcare quality using data and informatics, while reinforcing the importance of scientific accuracy and professional communication. For BSN (Prelicensure) students only. Cannot be fulfilled by transfer or credit for prior learning.
