ED5130 Competency-Based Curriculum and Design

Learners gain an understanding of the differences between professional standards, outcomes, and competencies, and how they can be integrated into curriculum design. Learners build on this understanding, mapping competencies to outcomes and aligning standards to competencies and outcomes. Learners practice integrating competency-based curriculum and instructional content with best-practice instructional approaches to develop an environment that values diverse voices. Cannot be fulfilled by transfer or credit for prior learning.
