ED5130 Competency-Based Curriculum and Design
Students gain an understanding of the differences between professional standards, outcomes, and competencies, and how they can be integrated into curriculum design. Students build on this understanding, mapping competencies to outcomes and aligning standards to competencies and outcomes. Students practice integrating competency-based curriculum and instructional content with best-practice instructional approaches. Cannot be fulfilled by transfer or credit for prior learning.

ED6484. MS in Education Innovation and Technology students are exempt from this prerequisite.
