Students gain an understanding of the evolution of colleges, universities, and other postsecondary institutions. Students investigate the cultural, societal, and economic influences that have shaped the development of higher education curricula, culture, practices, and governance. Students also relate historical events and milestones to current issues and trends in higher education.
