NURS-FPX6400 Nursing Informatics Fundamentals
Students analyze the roles, theories, ethical implications, and standards of nursing informatics practice. Students identify the rules, regulations, and current trends that govern professionals in the field. In addition, students examine the evolution and perspectives of nursing informatics, evaluate the effectiveness of information and communication modalities to support the delivery of healthcare, and integrate the knowledge and skills needed to lead and support improvements in healthcare. Students are required to complete 50 practicum hours. For MSN, FlexPath option students only. Special permission is required for registration.
