NURS6206 Advanced Health Promotion and Disease Prevention Across the Lifespan

Students investigate health promotion, disease prevention, and risk reduction across the lifespan. Students examine epidemiological factors, psychosocial influences, and variations in health to promote wellness for individuals, families, and communities. For MSN Adult-Gerontology Primary Care or Family Nurse Practitioner and Adult-Gerontology Primary Care or Family Nurse Practitioner Post-Master’s Certificate students only. Special permission is required for registration. NURS6206 must be taken concurrently with NURS6207. Cannot be fulfilled by transfer except for students in the Post-Master’s Certificate in Nursing as approved through Faculty Gap Analysis.
