NURS6426 Nursing Informatics Life Cycle Management
Students evaluate the typical life cycle of implementation, testing, evaluating, and supporting both hardware and software applications. Students also apply project and change management principles in relation to the life cycle of a healthcare information system. Finally, students integrate information and communication technology modalities to optimize healthcare delivery. Students are required to complete 50 practicum hours. For MSN students only. Special permission is required for registration. Cannot be fulfilled by transfer or credit for prior learning.
