NURS4105 Adult Health Nursing 1 Clinical

In this hybrid clinical course, students gain virtual and hands-on experience in adult health nursing, emphasizing care for the well adult. Students apply principles of health promotion and disease prevention in simulated and real-world settings, developing clinical reasoning through a blend of virtual instruction, simulation, and supervised clinical placements. Throughout the course, students assess and support adult clients by integrating physiological, psychological, and sociocultural considerations. Using the nursing process, they plan and implement holistic care strategies to maintain wellness and prevent illness across populations. Students complete a minimum of 80 clinical hours during this course. Special permission is required for registration. For BSN (Prelicensure) students only. Cannot be fulfilled by transfer or credit for prior learning.
