HMSV8612 Needs Assessment for Human Services
Students apply their research skills to conduct a needs assessment. Students identify an organization or community’s problem that could benefit from investigation and develop an appropriate design to study the identified problem, conduct data collection, and analyze the data to understand the problem. Students use this as a preliminary investigation that should inform their capstone project. Students present the results visually as well as in narrative format. Cannot be fulfilled by transfer.
